Licenses to Learn! Allison is a 2015 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Biochemistry program. For fun, she earned her private pilot certificate in 4 months and discovered how extraordinary flying is. Her career aspirations changed so she made a move in 2019 to Florida to pursue her new passion at ATP Flight School. She joined our Women in Aviation Tampa Bay Chapter right away to get involved in the local aviation community and to learn more about the industry. Her first role as an officer was Treasurer and since then Allison has been twice elected President. During this time she completed multiple ratings including ASEL, Instrument Airplane, CFI, MEII, and add ons such as her tailwheel endorsement and seaplane single and multi engine ratings. Allison instructed at Tampa Bay Aviation and loved sharing the excitement of aviation and challenging her students to achieve more than they thought possible. Allison is currently a First Officer with Endeavor Air flying the CRJ900 and CRJ700 Delta Connection aircraft. She absolutely loves her job and the ability to travel to see new places!

Happy to mentor! Yvonne has been a chapter member since January 2020 when she attended her first meeting and accepted the role of Membership Chair. She became actively involved and currently holds the positions of Secretary, eBlast editor, Webmaster, and helps in any way she can to promote WAI Tampa Bay Chapter in the Tampa Bay area. Her career spans almost 4 decades in the travel industry and aviation with experience in many of the different fields including hotel industry, car rental industry, travel agency, flight attendant and finally commercial airline pilot. Today she is a captain on Southwest Airlines fleet of Boeing 737s. Yvonne is happy to mentor anyone interested in becoming involved in any part of the travel and aviation industries.
